Say I deploy a site from asite.com/dev to bsite/live and everything works OK except there are broken file paths due to refernces to /dev, broken images and the like.  This is all held in the database so I used a SQL search and replace script from here: http://vyaskn.tripod.com/sql_server_search_and_replace.htm

The trouble is, it doesn't work in the ntext field used in the text/html module, which is of course where all the broken paths are.  I've seen some S&R scripts for ntext but it's a bit daunting.  So am I missing something really obvious (other than don't develop a site anywhere but on webroot) or is this the only way to do things?

AFAIK Mitch Sellers has a search and replace module for all Text/HTML modules, check out his site www.mitchelsellers.com.
