I downloaded a third party news articles and categories module and have successfully installed it on a DNN site where DNN is installed at the root folder.   But when installed in a virtual directory when I drop the categories module onto the page I get the error.

A critical error has occurred.
MinMax persistance type of cookie requires a ModuleId

I don't know what this means?  Can anyone elaborate and tell me why dropping the module on a page with DNN in a Virtual Directory would be different than dropping the module on a page where DNN is installed in  the root directory?  And if that is the problem.

I've installed the exact same modules on both sites and DNN is the same version on both sites
