Hello,

Please excuse me if I am posting in the wrong section.

problem

I can view the DNN home page on my development web server, however local and remote users get a 404 error when trying to access the link to my DNN folder(http://ipaddress:80/DNN).  They are able to see the default web server page.

build

I have successfully installed DNN 4.8 on my development web server at home running XP pro

configuration

-Port forwarding is set on my home router

-DNN can only be view on my webserver

-The following groups folders have permission to the DNN virtual folder:

    -Admin

    -Me

    -ASP.NET machine account

    -creator owner

    -system

    -users

This really does sound like either an IIS issue (not likely), or a firewall issue.  You might want to double check your firewall on the web server and your network.  Are you running DNS at all?
