Hello there!!

I am trying to install Dotnetnuke 4.08 and when i reach the page for the configuration of the database connection i get the following error:

Connection Error(s):
Index #: 0
Source: .Net SqlClient Data Provider
Class: 14
Number: 18456
Message: Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\NETWORK SERVICE'.

Now, i checked the security settings for the Dotnetnuke folder and i have checked the full permissions for the NETWORK SERVICE. My setting in the configuration page are:

Select Database: SQL Server 2000/Database 2005

Server: (local)

Database: DotNetNuke

Integrated Security: Checked

Run as db Owner: Checked

Object Qualifier: dnn_

Any help guys about this will be much appreciated. Thanks a lot in advance!

Regards

Have you verified that the login you are providing is correct and you can log into SQL Server with the login credentials you are providing?

With using "Integrated Security" you must add your NETWORK SERVICE account as an SQL Server user and give it permissions to the needed database.  The error that you are seeing is related to it not having an account in SQL Server.
