We have upgraded our Portal from DNN 04.06.02 to 04.07.00 and no problem with Performance so we have upgrade our Portal now to Version 04.08.00 and we becomes very large problems with our Portal. The Process w3wp.exe from this Portal grows very fast to over 1,7GB Memory our Portal with the Version 04.06.02 or 04.07.00 have needed a maximum of 200MB.

When we restart the Application is the Usage Memory is ok, but after so 20-30 Seconds the Memory-Usage grows very fast to over 1,7GB and the Portal is very slow and displayed no page. Most we become only a timeout error.

We have made from all Backups so we can made the Update at every time for a Test.

We have compared the web.conf from our Portal and Update and find here no Error!

How we can see was is here bad or so grow in memory to locate the Problem.

We have also disabled non Standard Entries in Web.conf for example PageBlaster and so but this not help.

Is there any Way to locate the Problem?

We are having the same issue on a server that is running a few 4.8 installs. w3wp.exe memory usage slowly creeps up in our case until is just kills the server.

We have currently updated our not working DNN Portal with Version 04.08.00 to DNN 04.08.01 and the Problem is here not more existent. I hope the new Version from 04.08.01 DNN resolv also the Problem by others!

same here. 1.7g. Will upgrade to 4.8.2 in hopes of stemming it. or we'llr evert back to 4.7
