HI,

I've been able to install dotnetnuke. Everything was fine but when i'm trying to go to my portal i get the http 403 forbiden error.  I'm with windows server 2003 on a domain. I dont know what to do to resolve this problem.

Thanx.

I was having this issue and it turned out that my portal alias was incorrect. In the PortalAlias table check what is in the HTTPAlias table. Ensure the DNS is correct. (whateveryoursiteis.com.) Mine had the correct DNS with \Install concatonated on the end. Once that was removed, then everything worked like a champ. Hope this may save some other folks a day of head scratching.

If this isn't the solution for you then I suggest checking IIS permissions but I am sure you have already checked the usual suspects.....
