I have been trying to install DNN from past 3 days and i am not able to do can any one please give detailed instructions or step that can help me out.

Please reply to me as soon as possible as i will get screwed if this doesn't work.

Don't know where you went wrong, and don't have enough details to give you specifics, but basically:

Download the Install version of DNN
Download the Documentation
Unzip the documentation and read the installation instructions
Unzip the DNN installation files
Edit the web.config to match your database setup on the host
Upload the installation files and edited web.config to your host
Configure the database on your host
Configure the file/folder permissions on your host
Browse to your web site (the folder where the installation files were copied)
Follow the wizard
Enjoy

ifollow same steps but i got Object reference not set to an instance of an object. !!!

my mistake was in connection string and appsettings since i rename the key and i should not just change the password and user name only
