Hello,
First off, thank you DotNetNuke for being a content management system that I can operate. My problem is this, I finally got DNN 4.02 manually installed on my GoDaddy account. I started setting up my site with site settings and fixed the admin and host settings and then I went to the site wizard and set that up. I went to add a page and I got this:

Server Error in '/tenn' Application.

Security Exception

Description: The application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy.  To grant this application the required permission please contact your system administrator or change the application's trust level in the configuration file.

I was able to get this message to go away for a little while after I had gotten it for 5 minutes of clicking on different links within my site. Then 10 minutes later, I started getting it again. I am not a computer expert, so any help is appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

Hi Chris,

For your sql database, GoDaddy has a separate checkbox for installing Role Schema in the SQL Server.  This got me past some of these errors, but not all of them (specifically, when I go to login).  IOW, I can read, but can't write.  From reading other messages, it appears that aspnet must be entered as a user with write rights for SQL Server.  I haven't contacted GoDaddy support yet to see if this is possible, but that's my next step.

Hank
