Its the a module module out there?

I could really use a module that can cointain other moduls.

prefrably i would also want to add a copy of that instance to child portals so...

editing it in the parent portall will change the content in all child portals

I am also looking into a way of blocking edit rights to this from child portal owners.

anyone know of something that can do the jobb or solve part of the problems involved?

Yep...take a look at the DNN Module Wrapper.

You do have to log in as Host to allow the module instance to display modules from other portals, however.

since only host users have administration options for multiple portals, anything else would be against DNN security policies.
