Hi

I installed DNN4.0.2 into a new directory and the run the install procedure. Things seem to go smoothly. Then I try navigate to the default page and I get the following error

Server Error in '/dotnetnuke' Application.

Could not find file 'C:\dotnetnuke\Website\SiteUrls.config'.

Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\dotnetnuke\Website\SiteUrls.config'.

Source Error:

An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

Stack Trace:

[FileNotFoundException: Could not find file 'C:\dotnetnuke\Website\SiteUrls.config'.]
System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath) +2014349
System.IO.FileStream.Init(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, Int32 rights, Boolean useRights, FileShare share, Int32 bufferSize, FileOptions options, SECURITY_ATTRIBUTES secAttrs, String msgPath, Boolean bFromProxy) +998
System.IO.FileStream..ctor(String path, FileMode mode, FileAccess access, FileShare share) +114
DotNetNuke.HttpModules.Config.RewriterConfiguration.GetConfig() +101
DotNetNuke.HttpModules.UrlRewriteModule.OnBeginRequest(Object s, EventArgs e) +698
System.Web.SyncEventExecutionStep.System.Web.HttpApplication.IExecutionStep.Execute() +92
System.Web.HttpApplication.ExecuteStep(IExecutionStep step, Boolean& completedSynchronously) +64

The SiteUrls.config file is stored in the Website\Config folder. It's not in the \Website folder. Is this an error? I tried simply moving the SiteUrls.config file into the \Website directory. But this doesn't work.

you will find SiteUrls.config in your solution, just copy it to the root of the website.

Thanks

However now I can't navigate to my portal. What could have caused this problem? When I type http://localhost/dotnetnuke/default.aspx I get to a screen with the following

Nothing To Install At This Time

Current Assembly Version: 04.00.02

Current Database Version: 04.00.02

Why can't I now access my portal?
