I'm currently using a DNN Portal running on an IIS Server and SQL Server running on the backend. My database administrator would like to change the (DATA TYPE's) NCHAR to CHAR, NVARCHAR to VARCHAR and NTEXT to TEXT in the database. Can this be done without any issues on the DNN Portal code and its comunication with the database? If you have any suggestions it would be gretly appreciated. All suggestions welcome

Many Thanks

 Darryl

You will run into issues, both in code, sprocs and tables, as well as in upgrades.

Do you know the truth when you hear it?
