I researched all the listed web hosts here at dotnetnuke.com.  3essentials and webhost4life are the most affordable and offer much better value.  Webhost4life offers the same as powerdnn except they throw in an extra mssql database for total of 2, and the monthly cost is about half.  I've heard some complaints about webhost4life but I've been a client there over 7 years now and honestly have only had to contact tech support about once per year.  The support reply time is just a couple hours and always very knowledgeable.  I've only been using 3essentials for about 4 months with a client and have had no problems at all other than the fact I really don't like the Plesk setup/control panel, the webhost4life is more functional and easier to follow.  3essentials is a few dollars more and only allows one mssql database and does have bandwidth limitations as well, but webhost4life couldn't confirm that they supported paypal payments pro processing for my client before setting things up there, so we went with 3essentials, otherwise I would have directed the client to webhost4life.  A programmer friend has used 3essentials for all her clients with dnn for several years and highly recommended them to me and so far we're all very happy with them.  I suppose a lot of the decision making has to do with loyalty and referrals, each to his own and every setup is going to have it's own set of special requirements factored in.  But, dnn or not, I would never use Godaddy after what I went through with this clients account there.   The client asked me to move them after I had to relay so many problems back to them about the hosting at Godaddy.  Other people seem more than happy to remain there, but sometimes ignorance is bliss, and that's not always a good thing.  Problems with security protocols and failed restores from their backups was what really was the last straw when we were dealing with Godaddy.  Anyway, hopefully the extra info here is helpful.  -Rick

Thanks very much again for the info Rick...

WebHosting4Life by far has the best options "HOWEVER" the only issue with WebHosting4Life (http://www.webhost4life.com) is they require you to pay the full year in advance. NOT MONTHLY as they advertise.(A little deceiving i think) You are asked to pay the full balance and not given the option of being billed Monthly. In my case I was signing up for the Premium $19.95 per month service thinking i was going to billed monthly.

HOWEVER WebHosting4Life required an up front fee of $239.40 Yearly advance. NO MONTHLY BILLING OPTION as they advertise... OUCH! ... i had a client complain about this. So if you have a client who is paying you to set up and design a DNN website you have to have them pay up front the $239.40 plus your DNN design service.

I had to go with www.powerdnn.com which permits a TRUE monthly charge and not a YEARLY PREMIUM. WebHosting4Life will refund your money during the year for services not used but their advertising is somewhat misleading... it should display YEARLY fee because thats what you will be paying up front. THE MONTHLY LINGO IS A DECEIVING TECHNICALITY. And if you ask to be billed monthly, you will be given the following link http://www.webhost4life.com/mspower.asp .  If you or your client is willing to pay or has the up front server hosting money then willing to pay for your DNN design services all up front as well then go with WebHost4life.

However if your client only has the Up front money to pay for your DNN Design Services and not the Yearly server fee then i recommend www.powerdnn.com because they(Power DNN) does not make you commit to an initial Up front Yearly fee. Just the Monthly which can be canceled at any time.

This is the detail information i needed. I shared this information with my client and told them at this time i don't need extra hassle. So they are permitting me to choose a new hosting service rather than GO DADDY. Although i have a client that has used powerdnn successfully with no problems, the only problem with powerdnn is the basic package doesn't permit SSL support and my new client does have a budget to consider.

3essentials did sound like a very good choice. But the dreaded and feared bandwidth limit is quite scary for my client. I had another client tell me they ran into a problem with bandwidth issue on another hosting provider with such limits. What happened was their business uploaded a powerpoint presentation and a short video.
Plus on top of that they had 25 email accounts and were always sending emails with attachments(email traffic was included in the bandwidth - YIKES!). In time all of this caused them to go over their bandwidth for the month and they got a $200.00 hosting bill which was normally suppose to be $20 per month. All because their marketing decided to do a 1-2 month marketing campaign and never thought about what the bandwidth costs would be.    OUCH!....

Anyway i'm going to look closely at your suggestions But i do thank you for the Feedback on GoDaddy i was already spooked before this post because of what i've heard in other forums. I agree that GoDaddy is Great for Domain names and commercials but in regards to DNN hosting, approach with caution.

If others have found more cost effective ways to host DNN websites with "LITTLE HEAD ACHE" then let me know.

Thanks again for the info.
