I've deleted all the tables in my sql and have deleted all the contents in my root directory about a dozen times trying to install DNN.

I'm using Visual Studio : "This template creates a DotNetNuke Web Application".

I give it my url and it installs all the files without any errors. I get the obligatory

Introduction

"Congratulations! You have created your own DotNetNuke project.  Please take a few minutes to read this document, as it will help you install and configure your new website."

As per instructions, I set Default.asp as the start page, I build the application and then Ctrl-F5.

The wizard loads, and I've tried the Custom, typical and auto radio options in the wizard.

I successfuly test the file permissions along with the Database connections; the script runs and the database gets populated without any errors.

I setup my Superuser account succesfully

When I get to the modules, I select the modules I want and I get :

Error Installing Module(s):
Adsense (01.00.01)Error Installing Module(s):
Announcements (04.00.01)Error Installing Module(s):

I can't go back at that point (the back button is gone) leaving only the "Next" button. Next only refreshes the page with the same installation errors.

When I open a seperate browser and navigate to my site, I get :

the most annoying Object not set to an instance of an Object message.....

I need help PLEASE!

Dont use the starter kit, use the install kit...

Download the install kit and follow this guide... Easy DotNetNuke installation.  You can also download all the official documents including an install guide from here (dotnetnuke.com login required).

You're suppose to set the starting page as default.aspx.
