I'm trying to install and configure my 1st DNN site (04.08.02)... and I'm getting this error...

The directory '/DotNetNuke/App_Code/HTML/' is not allowed because the application is precompiled.

I'm trying from localhost/DotNetNuke/Defaut.aspx and it makes it upto this point without any errors.

Thanks for the hints/help,

Bob

I found my problem...

I didn't realize that the DotNetNuke Install was UN-Published! I had been publishing the Web Site and then running Default and in the process of creation it adds to the /App_Code folder which shouldn't be in a compiled (Published) site.

I just pointed to the built site and ran Default and all went great.
