Hi All,

After installing 4.8.2 on 1&1 hosting uder a virtual directory dnn I get the below error when clicking on host or site settings, it sounds like a files permission error but I've added full permissions for both IUSER and NETWORK SERVICES on all dnn folders and subfolders.

I also get an exception when trying to add a new page.

I've looked over the forum but couldn't find a report of a similar error, any help is appreciated.

I'm reposting to move the thread up a little and see if anyone faced this issue and was able to solve. I'm trying with all permissions with no luck. I would really appreciate any help with this issue.

I just started getting this error as well. It start just recently (used to work just fine).  I also started getting the message:

A critical error has occurred.
Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation.

whenever I try modifiing the settings of some of my modules (but not all), particularly the text/html and adsense modules. These started happening at the same time.

I am using dnn 4.8.1.
