Hey all

I went to my site today to upload an updated module and the site said it was updating to 4.8.2 and that it was successful.  Then it showed the "click here to access your portal" link which did...nothing.  It seemed to reload the page, but that was it.  I've tried exiting and rebrowsing my site, and it is not working correctly now.  Any ideas on what might have happened or how to get it working again?

who did install DNN 4.8.2 files on the server? there is no auto-download and install. Has the web.config been adopted properly? if yes, I suggest to add a blank to first line of it, save the file to restart the app and retry to access the site.

well I needed to update the 01.00.00.SqlDataProvider file in my module, so i did a "Publish to Provider" through the database explorer on our database.  I added the text that went into that .txt file and pasted it into there.  I then packaged the module, went to the live site, and installed it.  That is when this happened.  How can I edit the web.config file so that I can regain access to the site?

Not to double post, but I figured I would offer more information -

The page shows this:

Upgrading DotNetNuke

Current Assembly Version: 04.08.00

Current Database Version: 04.08.02

Upgrade Status Report

00:00:00.015 - Upgrading to Version: 4.8.0
00:00:00.093 - Performing General Upgrades

Upgrade Complete

Click Here To Access Your Portal

I noticed that it says "Upgrading to 4.8.0" and that my Assembly Version is 4.8.0?  That doesn't seem correct.

I went to our host provider (IHostASP.net) and went to our file manager and deleted that module.  It still did not help - I am not sure what to do at this point.

please make sure not to install a previous DNN version onto an existing installation. In your case, the message will be fixed when unzipping the DNN 4.8.2 install package files properly.
