Hi!

We are going to use DotnetNuke. I want to know how can we use DotNetNuke with Visual Studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005.

you need SQL Server to run your site.

you need Visual Studio to create custom modules.

I have Visual studio 2005 and SQL Server 2005 installed on my pc.

I want to know about installation process. Also how to connect visual studio and dotnetnuke.

If you have downloaded the starter kit...then you should install the starter kit by clicking on it.  Please be sure to have visual studio installed first.  If you have never used visual studio, I would suggest doing a little more research...ASP.NET has a lot of great tutorial videos for beginners when it comes to visual studio and asp.net. To get started. install the starter kit.  Next start a new web project and  use the DotNetNuke template.  Hit the F5 key and follow the instructions.

There is also a number of good posts on how to get started.. I would suggest a good google search for the latest links and walkthroughs on how to do this.

Are you going to develop modules or just use DNN without doing development work?  If the latter, forget a local install and VS.  Download the documents and review the installation documentation.
