I *finally* got things installed and working on the localhost.  This host is W2k3, SQL Express, IIS.  When I am on the server, I can browse to localhost/dotnetnuke, but when I try from another machine to browse to  http://<ipaddress>/dotnetnuke,  I get page cannot be displayed.  It's probably permissions, but why does it work locally?

Thanks.

Terry

Couple of ideas:

  1. Make sure DNN has an alias for the IP and/or Machine name
  2. Make sure you are not using host headers in IIS (only the specified host header will work all others will fail)
  3. Make sure that IP is the IP that is bound to that website instance
  4. Make sure you don't have a personal/local firewall blocking it

If that does not do it, I have some other ideas.
