I am new of DotNetNUke, and when I install 4.0.2 on XP Service Packer 2, with MS SQL 2005 EXPRESS, I got a error like this:

Server Error in '/DotNetNuke' Application.

Could not find file 'C:\DotNetNuke\Website\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\DotNetNuke_template.mdf'.

Would anybody help me with this problem?

Follow the instructions from the Installation Guide contained in the Documentation zip available at the downloads area.

I get the same problem using SQL 2000 on W2K box and I did follow the documentation more than once.

I actually didn't see the install document earlier. But I have browsed it now. It looks like it's missing some instructions on the source package at least.

You can find stuff on whats missing in install instructions on earlier versions  and/or packages. After browsing the document I can see that people can experince problems when they follow only the stuff under 4.x source package instructions.. 

Thats probably the reason for a lot of people visiting the install problems threads. (And also if they don't read the instructions at all, like me:).

The Train cert videos give u som nice instructions. And this did the install for me:
