There are a lot of installed modules such as blog, forum and banner....etc under modules definition.

However, I do not see their links to use it, e.g. no forum and blog links in home page.

Do I need to add new modules in control panel as I saw there is a drop down list of those installed modules.

But, I do not know what do they mean: Insert Top / Bottom, Visibility Same as Page / Pages Editor only, Align left, center, right.

What does Install Additional Modules mean? What does Add Existing Module mean?

When should use Module Definition Validator ?

I would recommend purchasing one of the DNN books as you've got quite a ways to go from those questions.

Basically DNN allows you to create PAGES/TABS, on those pages you can put different Modules, which provide functionality, in the "panes" on the web page.

The modules you have access to are listed in the control panel at the top of the page, the "top/bottom/visibility" etc are options for placement of the modules on the pages.

Also the DNN Creative video tutorials are a good resource.
