I have a successful install of 4.0.2 running on a Win 2K box with SQL Server 2005 (on the same box). Today I tried to install DNN on a new Win 2K server (IIS 5) with a separate SQL Server 2000 database server. Most things in DNN seem to work fine (login, adjust host & admin settings, etc.), but the basic modules (like Text/HTML and Links) throw up an error:

Error: Links is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Keyword not supported: 'cosda199,10433;database'. --->

It looks like something is funny about the connection string, but other parts of the app can connect to the database just fine. Here's my web.config connection string:

    <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2000/2005 -->
    <add name="SiteSqlServer" connectionString="Server=cosda199,10433;Database=DNNCalWIN;uid=DNNCalWinUser;pwd=XXXXX;" providerName="System.Data.SqlClient" />

Any ideas?

Nevermind... after looking at this fresh first thing in the morning I discovered that the second connection string (for legacy support) was missing the "Server=" keyword. That is why some modules worked and others didn't (the first connection string was good).

It's always something simple that takes a while to track down...
