I have installed DNN 4.8.4 on my Vista, and every thing went fine. After working for a while I noticed that DNN answered more and more slowly and after some more work in the language section as host, DNN is so slow updating, so it actually stops generation a error suggestion connection failur.

What can I have done wrong?

Thanks / Tomas

Hey Tomas,

I'll try asking some specific questions to help you get going in the right direction... What are the specs of the machine you are using? Have you examined the resources of the machine as this is happening? Is there a particular process that is using a lot of resources? Does recycling the application pool or restarting the WWW service help resolve what you see?

Also, do you have any third party modules installed that may be causing this? If it is a "default" install of DNN - I would look deeply into the questions above, however, if you have a bunch of third party modules, they may need to be looked into more closely

Take care,

Ian
