My admin and host menus don't appear when I am logged in as host and as admin.  When I go in to site settings and click "advanced settings" - > "host", the advanced tree closes.  This happens for all options under advanced settings (payment settings, usability, etc).  I have re-installed twice, recycled IIS, created a new super user account, and I still can't get the host menu to appear.  What can I do?

IIS 6 and SQL 2000

What version of DNN?

Any customizations made to the install?

version 4.08.04.  The only thing I changed was the connection string in web.config.

Turns out it isn't just the host menu.  My navigation bar is not being created at all.  I add a new page and set it to display in the menu and it doesn't show up.  "Home" isn't in my menu either.  Any suggestions?

What skin are you using? Does it have a NAV token in it, or is the navigation you're seeing hard coded?

Are you seeing the control panel when you login?
