  1. I downloaded all files (and database) from my live web site on to my local pc, setting up a new local version
    • when I entered this new local-address, it just redirect to live web site
  2. Then I upgraded this local website from version (4.8.0) to the new version (4.8.4)
    • Upgrade has been done succesfully but again
    • when I try to browse this upgraded local, it redirected to default live web site

I would like to browse my local upgraded site, then test it and after some modifications, re-upload it on live web site. How can I do this process?

Have you checked your portal settings to make sure it is not set to your live domain? Log in to your site as Host, then go to 'Portals' and see if the portal you're trying to access is not configured to point to your live domain (www.xxx.com or http:/xxx.com). Hope that helps.

After one day of searching, I resolved it. I rememberd that in live site, I deleted the localhost alias!, So I manually added it to table PortalAlias (as localhost/localsite) and all things are done.
