Error on Install:

Installing Database - Version 4.4.0...FAILURE 400 - Could not find file 'C:\DotNetNuke\dnn_484_1\Providers\DataProviders\SqlDataProvider\DotNetNuke.SetUp.SqlDataProvider'.

I am unsure but think this is a SQLServer issue - any help would be appreciated

no, it might be an issue of file system permissions, make sure, the file is present and the virtual user "Network Service" has full access.

Thanks for your help

I have checked the file permissions and this is ok (I have also reapplied them)

no change here

the file does not exist - which leads e to conclude a script  should have created them.

When I type the URL as http://localhost/dnn_484_1/Install/InstallWizard.aspx the wizard starts - could this be significant as I had hoped to simply enter http://localhost/dnn_484_1 or or at worst http://localhost/dnn_484_1/Install but I cannot see any reason why these shorter URL's should work so I was not too worried at the time - does this point to an IIS issue (!!! now I am in full circle!)

Resolved: The Install package did not properly unzip under Vista ! - thanks for your help on this one - the file did not exist

Unzipped the install package under XP, deleted original and installed beautifully.
