I am having issues with the starter kit. I have tried to install it on 3 different systems now, and it just doesn't want to go.  When I click in wizard installer it seems to think it is all installed correctly. However when I try start a new DNN framework site, it get a number of spourious errors and the new project never starts.

Has anybody else had this issue?

I am well aware of the flaky nature of the downloads of this portal, and have overcome a number with the install files etc. I was just wondering if there are any work arounds for the starter kits.

BTW guys once you get the projects working, the guys who have done coding etc, have done a great job and I am very impressed. However you are let down by the flaky nature of the download files. I appreciate this is all done by volunteers etc

BTW are you guys aware of the difficulties faced when trying to submit a port to forum when using Opera browser?

I seem to have answered my own question after playing with this issue for the past couple of hours. The solution appears to be to click on the VSI file, then click on the link that says open files in windows explorer.  When the Child window opens, close the parent window then click on the VSI again. Then follow through with the installation. I am then able to open a DNN framework project no problem.
