I have a couple pages using the Text/HTML module.  An AD group has edit perms for the module but when a member of that group initially clicks in the area to edit, a login prompt comes up. The user can click Cancel and continue, but why is this prompting coming up in the first place? The user is clearly already recognized by DNN because his name appears and he sees the Edit Text link for the module in the first place.  The same thing happens to me as an admin.

Any guidance is appreciated.

To be clear you are using DNN with the Active Directory Provider correct?

It sounds like to me that something about the script that allows for the inline editing doesn't quite have the propert permissions on the webserver and that is why the login prompt is occurring.  This also could be caused by settings in the browser as well.  I would suggest taking you question over to the Active Directory area where people who run AD all the time will be able to help you.
