Hello frends, by installing of the version 4.9.0 of dotnetnuke i had a problem after choosing all the modules. I had also the Errormessage (see below). My Problem was i had chosen all modules, after that i made it for a few and than once more and so on. So i succeed with the installation. It's just my fee for this topic. lots of regards garydux Object reference not set to an instance of an object. This is a known issue and still looking for a solution.  We might have found a fix in 5.0, but I am still in the process of testing the fix so cannot say 100% that this is really has been fixed.  Unless you plan on using all the modules, I recommend to only install the modules that you will use.  This just keeps you install as clean as possible.

For future installs to install all modules, go to the install\module directory and change all the ".resources" to ".zip".  Then either chose "Auto Install" from the main wizard page or set the "useInstallWizard" setting in the web.config to false.  Run the install and it should run fine.
