Hi,

I'm trying to get up and running for the first time.  I have Visual Studio 2005 Professional edition - I just renamed release.config to web.config - didn't need to change any db settings because I used the default database name.  I'm getting a message saying the database is read-only.  Does anyone know what's happening?

Thanks in advance for any help

No, it doesn't say read-only in Explorer (I checked this)

Stry, resetting IIS fixed that error for me. I did have to reset file permissions, though. The app_data subdirectory did not inherit the parent directory's permissions.
