I want to install DNN 4.9.0 on my new HP Proliant server running windows Server 2008 with SQL Server 2008.

Before starting with the installation I would like to know if there are particular steps I should take care of? Is there eg somewhere an installation document for installing on win2k8 with Sql2k8?

thanks

Guy,

I am not aware of any differens for the installation procedure when setting up DotNetNuke. I think as long as you are doing the major steps correctly, you should see a proper outcome.

Take care,

Ian

Guy

I am also looking at installing 4.9.0 on SQL Server 2008 and would be grateful to know how you got on. Did you have any issues and are there any noticable differences?

Thank you
Regards
Victoria

I'll be doing the same in a week or two and would also like to know if it works out.

Cheers,
BB
