Hello All,

I'm still a newbie on using DNN. I hope someone has similar problem and have a solution to my problem. After upgrading DNN from 3.0.2 to 4.0.2, my search result module does not work on both the parent and all the child portal. At first, I thought it might be the child portal corrupted, so I recreated again. But no luck. The error displayed as follows:

A critical error has occurred.
MinMax persistance type of cookie requires a ModuleId

I am running Windows 2003 Server, IIS 6 with .NET 2.0 framework, SQL 2000, DNN 4.0.2.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't see how you could've possibly upgraded from 3.x to 4.x with DNN.

To my understanding their directory structure and build are totally different. Plus, non of the module for 3.x will work with 4.x. I'm currently experimenting with 4.x and thus far nothing from 3.x works. I've done a fresh install of 4.x and not an upgrade.

Am I missing something?
