there is a problem with dnn 4.9 source installation.

what I did:

  • Unzip dnn source files to a folder in my development desctop (folder)
  • set a virtual directory witch points to that folder/Website and change it to my own website name
  • configure virtual directory for integrated security and using .net framework 2.0
  • rename development.config to web.config
  • run installwizard such as I did for dnn install package before (witch works correcly for install package)

and now what happens is this:

when I try to browse defaults.aspx, IE goes to an status like hanged state. statusbar is fliking (like an infinite loop)

whats happenig? some body help please...

the exact url that portal tries to open is :

localhost/[virtual directory]/default.aspx?tabid=36

but IE stops without any error and just tries to to open page and tries and tries ...
