As I learned now my hosting provider offers only SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition.

Do I have to expect any problems if I install DNN 4.9 with SQL Server 2000? My first installation attempt failed because of missing dbo-rights. Now I requested dbo rights for the DotNetNuke database.

Any experiences or ideas from your side what to look for?

Regards, Walter

Hi Walter,

DotNetNuke can be installed on any SQL Server 2000, 2005 or 2008 except compact edition.

BTW: there are German DNN forums at www.dnn-usergroup.de

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold
