hi All,

I have successfullyinstalled a dotnetnuke directly on my webspace. I have the following problem. When i click on the login page, nothing happens. I have created a new login (register page) it works well, but once i click logout, i cant get back in. there is nothing showing up to enter my details. I have tried http://mywebsite.me/Home/tabid/36/login.aspx hope that will be the direct link to the login page. there is no error coming up, but again nothing letting me enter the username and password would show up.

I will apreciate any help possible

thanks

My guess is that your login page was set in host settings to a page without a login control.

If you run the following script in your database

UPDATE Portals

SET LoginTabId = null

WHERE PortalId = 0

On a DEFAULT DNN installation this will clear the setting, then restart the application, typically by re-saving the web.config, and then visit the site you should be able to get in.
