I have Plesk v 7.5.6 which includes DNN 3.1.  I'd like to upgrade to 4.0.  Where do I get the install scripts and procedure to do this?  Any information would be appreciated.

I have a post into them as well, but they're not the quickest to replay.  Plus, it's not part of their core software, so I don't think it has as high a priority.

Another question for you.  I used the scripts to create a subdir, "/dnn/" from my website.  When I go to that directory, it tells me that the page cannot be found.  I checked, and it's in IIS and MS SQL, but it seems as if IIS might not be letting it run.  Don't know what I need to do to get it to run.  Any ideas?

I'm struggling with sort of the same problem... but I get permission errors instead...

3.1 installs and runs fine through Plesk, but when i copy 4.02 files over the 3.1 ones, and start the upgrade it stops with what seems to be NTFS permission problems - even though "Network Services" has change permission to everything..

I cant seem to install 4.02 manually either (not upgrade). Same problem arises.

I think you need more than the Network Services security group added.  I played around with this a bunch and found all kinds of install errors when I manually tried to install 4.0.2.  I did get it to work when I added the group "everyone" to the root directory and granted them all rights.  This is scary, but it did prove that it was the security settings.  I'm still trying to figure out exactly what group I need to add to the root (in addition or in place of Network Services).
