I used the default installation for the DNN5 starter kit and created a website. After setting up the website with all default options, the menu item images are broken. From the browser, the properties for the image is:

http://localhost:1109/DNN5a/images//icon_moduledefinitions_16px.gif

The images are in that path, perhaps the double // is messing it up.

But meanwhile, and nonetheless, the menu images are broken.

Any ideas?

thanks.

I assume you are using the proxy that comes with Visual Studio, which gives out a random port number?
Please use IIS and see if this helps (IIS is required). Thanks.
