I don't know what I was thinking. I went brain dead and installed DNN 5.0 over my old DNN 4.9 install. Now I'm getting the below listed error.

Success A critical error has occurred.
Failed to load v13wstat3. The control tree into which v13wstat3 is being loaded must match the control tree that was used to save v13wstat3 during the previous request. For example, when adding controls dynamically, the controls added during a post-back must match the type and position of the controls added during the initial request.

Additionaly, I can no longer log in.

 

Now I've really done it. I tried upload the 4.9 install and now the it's worse...

Please note:

  1. DotNetNuke 5.0.0 RC2 is NOT intendeded FOR use on PRODUCTION sites!!!
  2. you cannot downgrade any DNN installation, there is only an upgrade path provided

restore latest backup from before the DNN 5 upgrade.
