Im trying to get DNN working on IIS5 with ASP .net 1.1, but Im having multiple issues.

First I got an error complaining about RequirePermission not be a recognised attribute. I couldnt find any real solution on the web, so i just deleted that attribute. Now I am getting an error saying;

Parser Error Message: Unrecognized configuration section 'connectionStrings'
Source Error: 
Line 16:     </sectionGroup>
Line 17:   </configSections>
Line 18:   <connectionStrings>
Line 19:     <!-- Connection String for SQL Server 2005 Express -->
Line 20:     <add


Can anyone help with this ? Is asp.net 1.1 supported by DNN ? Will it run on IIS5 at all ?

It appears that you are trying to install DNN version 4.00.02 which requires ASP.NET 2.0.  You will need to either download and install version 3.2.2 which will run under ASP.NET 1.1. or upgrade your IIS configuration to run the ASP.NET 2.0 framework.
