Hello,

I just installed a test DNN5 RC2 environmant and I am unable to log on.  The installation seemed to go fine and I can browse to the \localhost to get the DotNetNuke main page.  When I click on Login nothing happens and the following is in the address bar:

http://localhost/Default.aspx?tabid=37&error=Could+not+load+file+or+assembly+'DotNetOpenId%2c+Version%3d2.4.2.8248%2c+Culture%3dneutral%2c+PublicKeyToken%3d2780ccd10d57b246'+or+one+of+its+dependencies.+Operation+is+not+supported.+(Exception+from+HRESULT%3a+0x80131515)

I am running Windows 2008 with IIS 7 and a separate SQL2005 server.  I have DNN 4.9.0 sites functioning fine in the same environment.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmmm loooks like this issue:

Could you please make a comment on Gemini and let us know which trust your web.config is set at (and please if you can get it working on trust settings, see the issue for further info).

Thanks...

Alex Shirley

After testing the different possibilities of trust levels (IIS & web.config) I found the following:

 - With IIS Trust Level at Full or High and web.config at any setting the login process works.

 - With IIS Trust Level at Medium and the web.config at any setting I get the problem originally reported with DotNetOpenId.

 - With IIS Trust Level at Lor or Minimal and the web.config at any setting I get a security exception as described in the Gemini link provided in Alex's post

I will post this info in Gemini also.
