I have been trying to track down a problem where I cant seem to upload files to my IIS server (it is my own so I have full access).  I have tracked it down to the IIS server returning an error 400 when trying to upload files.  What I have now found is that if I enable annonymous access under Directory Security I can upload the files without a problem but as soon as I disable it (whilst building the website) I get a "page cannot be displayed" error in my browser and the 400 error in the website log files.

Does anyone else have this problem? Is their a solution? How do others stop people viewing their website whilst they are building it?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Nathan
