Hi, is there any estimate on when 5.0.1 will be available presuming that version 5 of DNN is still a little unstable for upgrading a version 4.9 DNN website?

Thanks in advance, regards MARK.

the core team is working with high pressure on the new version, see http://support.dotnetnuke.com/project/RoadMap.aspx?PROJID=2.

currently there is no date for the next release though, as long as we are still receiving new error messages.

Cheers from Germany,

Me too :-(.

Tried to upgrade from 4.09 to 5.00 - BIG mistake !!. Install reported errors, Snapsis NavMenu broke, Logoff doesn't Logoff, Missing PortalAlias Folder, modules failing to load etc......

Restored database AND Website folder from this mornings backups :-( - waste of half a day...

Now really glad that I took the decision some time back to split my database so that all my live captured data is stored in a different database to the DNN code and tables :-)).

Hope someone will advise when V5 is stable enough to handle an Upgrade :-O.

Pity as I did a completely fresh install of the RC on Dec 20th (different website) and it went in like a dream - but then I didn't really use it or test it :-O.

Regards

Graham
