I am installing DNN 04.09.00 on a local computer with Vista Ultimate x64. IIS 7 (with IIS 6 extensions) and SQL Server Express 2005 are installed and funtioning properly. When I browse to the localhost directory to start the installation, I get the following error:

 Hi Chris,

You hit the nail on the head!  I discovered the problem shortly after I posted and have been waiting for my message to be approved so I could mark it as resolved.  I felt it had to be something related to the database and finally decided to look at web.config which, of course, did not exist.
