Hello,

I have problem after upgrade in module definition tab:

DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: The file '/Admin/ModuleDefinitions/ModuleDefinitions.ascx' does not exist. ---> System.Web.HttpException: The file '/Admin/ModuleDefinitions/ModuleDefinitions.ascx' does not exist. at System.Web.UI.Util.CheckVirtualFileExists(VirtualPath virtualPath) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultInternal(VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.Compilation.BuildManager.GetVPathBuildResultWithNoAssert(HttpContext context, VirtualPath virtualPath, Boolean noBuild, Boolean allowCrossApp, Boolean allowBuildInPrecompile) at System.Web.UI.TemplateControl.LoadControl(VirtualPath virtualPath) at DotNetNuke.UI.ControlUtilites.LoadControl[T](TemplateControl containerControl, String ControlSrc) at DotNetNuke.UI.Modules.ModuleHost.LoadModuleControl() --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Any solution of this problem?

Thanks

Yael, have you checked your server to make sure hte /admin/moduledefinitions/moduledefinitions.ascx file is present after the upgrade is complete?

If not, locate it in the install package and manually extract it.  Although, if this is the case, it's likely some other files are missing as well.

If the file does exist, then check the permissions on the file/directory to make sure that the networks service user has at least read access to it.

They are not present. It sounds silly but they are not present in 5.0 upgrade and install packages

module definitions has been integrated into new Extensions module, which is placed in /desktopModules/admin/extensions in DNN5. This sounds like an upgrade issue, please check the upgrade log file and event log for upgrade errors.
