I have a configuration question that I need some advice on how to approach.

I am involved with a non-profit organization that works to help abused children.  We have a primary DNN website for our organization that I will call maindomain.com.  We have a several events that we host throughout the year and have built separate DNN websites to promote those.  The problem is that each domain has its own user list and we need all of the users in one database for communications, coordinating and marketing efforts.  I would like to achieve the following but am not sure how to make it work.

MainDomain.com (This domain names goes to the home page of our primary organization)
EventOne.com (Goes to a set of pages with a different menu on the same DNN website that can be used to promote that event.)
EventTwo.com (Goes to a different set of pages with a different menu on the same DNN website that can be used to promote that event.)
EventThree.com (Goes to a different set of pages with a different menu on the same DNN website that can be used to promote that event.)

We use the different domain names in marketing the "brand" for each event. Obviously tying back everyone to the same set of users for one DNN site would be very powerful.

I know that I can set up child domains and set the portal aliases to manage this, but aren't the users now in different portals in that configuration?

I am sure that there is an obvious way to handle this but it escapes me at this point.

Any help is appreciated

Most likely what you need to do is to look at a third party registration module, I believe Dynamic Registration from DataSprings can do this.  But basically you need a module that can make it so users always register on the base portal and it simply provides them access to all portals.  Effectively creating a single set of users.

Thanks, Mitch. I will look into the DataSprings product to see what it can do.

I also found that the DNNMasters Multi Portal User Sharing Xtreme product can do this so that looks like the best way to approach it.

Thanks for the help.
