You can, theoretically, by adding another dataprovider. But only the SQLDataprovider comes with DNN out of the box.

Hi Stefan,

Do you know how? I have another provider, but how does it work? Do I change all "sqldataprovider" in web.config and providerName in connection string?

I have put the provider in assemblies as well.

My provider is for a different db named "Mimer sql" www.mimer.com and I want to use that one.

Best regards

Nenne
