Hi All,

I am new to DNN. I installed DNN 4.09 in my local system successfully. I can access it using http://localhost/dnndemo. No problem at all. But when I am trying to access it using machine IP address like http://192.168.100.21/dnnmo ,  the url is rewrited to http://localhost/dnndemo. that's why I can not access from other machines in the network. I could not find out the position where to change. Can anyone help me out of this?

Thank you!!!

You need to add a PortalAlias for the IP address.

Under the Admin menu, go to Site Settings, Under the Advanced Settings, there should be a Portal Alias setting (in 5.0.1). It should be under Site Settings in the 4x line as well, I think it's at the bottom of the page. If you expand everything and use the browser to search for the text "alias" you'll find it.

Then add "192.168.100.21/dnnmo"

Please note that it does not have the http://, that is supposed to be left off.

Hope that helps.

What you have more then one portal. How do you add alias to be accessed on a network machine.
