hello all!!!

i'm install DNN for the first time. in the past, i've always had the pleasure of just cliking a button on godaddy.

i'm working throught the steps in the install guide. i think i have everything setup (modified web.config, created the DB, the DB user account and the virtual host). when i go to access the site and kick off the installation i get a general "server error in'/DotNetNuke' application.

i followed the directions and updated the customErrors mode to be set to "off". however, i don't get any more detail when i revisit the page.

any and all help is much appreciated.

thanks!

got it. moderated forums give you time to toggle every possible setting on your hosting account to try to figure it out.
