I have successfully install 4.0.2.  I have done very little with it as of yet.

Today, I installed Windows Sharepoint Services on the same server, and now I get this error when trying to access my DNN site.  I am unsure if the two are related, but that is the only thing I have done differently that I can think of that would effect things... thanks for your help!

I'm experiencing the same problem. DNN 4.0.3 worked fine this morning. Then I moved the virtual directory into the same web site as Sharepoint. At this point I got the error you described above.

I excluded the new virtual directory using the STSADM tool, but it did not resolve the problem.

I dug into it a little more, and it appears to be a problem with the trust level of the web application. Sharepoint configures the web site to use a trust level of "WSS_Minimal" in the web.config with the following element in <system.web />: <trust level="WSS_Minimal" originUrl="" processRequestInApplicationTrust="false" />

I'm still working on making the DNN application override this and use Medium instead.
