This is my first time installing DNN and its been over 2 hours that my computer is installing the database scripts.  Is this normal?  I'm not sure if I should cancel the install and try again, or if I missed something in the initial install process for DNN.  Just wondering if anyone could help me.  Thanx.

no, this is typically indicating missing permissions for database or file system. please verify, all permissions are granted appropriately and retry.

make sure for each folder, that the virtual account has proper permissions. if you have local or remote desktop, right click the folder and check effective permissions.
