Hi All,

Installed DNN 4.9 for the first time on Server 2003, IIS, and SQL 2005.  All went well and I was able to login, configured the site from the server with http://localhost/dnnsite.  I cannot, however, hit the site from a remote computer (on the same network) with http://ip_address/dnnsite.  I have entered the Host Port Name and Aliases.

http://ip_address/ shows the underconstruction page

http://ip_address/dnnsite shows Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

http://ip_address/hostportalaliasses shows Intenet Explorer cannot display the webpage.

The DNN event log does not show anything.  I can go over my set up steps if it helps.

Thanks in advance.

KJN

Hi ErikVB,

That was the problem.  I did not have the server IP address in the HTTP Alias.  By adding the actual ip address to the alias, in addition to the default Localhost, the problem is resolved.

Thank You,

KJ
